The Great Big Bolton Panto bounds in to Crompton Place
28 November 2016
Stars from The Great Big Bolton Panto will be swapping the stage for Crompton Place this week as the centre continues with its free Thursday evenings of late night shopping fun.
Emmerdale and Strictly Come Dancing star Roxanne Pallett will be joined by Keith ‘Cheggers’ Chegwin and the rest of the cast and will be in the centre performing scenes from this year’s panto, Dick Whittington, from 6pm to 7pm.
Crompton Place Centre Manager, Paula Wood, said she was delighted to be able to welcome the cast of The Great Big Bolton Panto to the centre. “Thursday is set to be a fantastic,” said Paula.
“Dick Whittington is such a popular story with the entire family and I’m thrilled that the cast from the Macron Stadium show will be coming into Crompton Place and performing scenes for our shoppers. We’ve teamed up with a whole range of local groups to put on free Thursday evenings of fun for late night shopping and this is set to be a real highlight of the activities.
“Panto is one of the most quintessentially Christmassy activities and I’m sure that with the larger than life costumes and characters it will prove extremely popular with our shoppers. Keith and Roxanne are household names and it’s a brilliant opportunity for the people of Bolton to see them up close.”
Head of Marketing and Communications at Bolton Wanderers Football Club and Bolton Whites Hotel said: “This is the second consecutive year that Macron Stadium has staged the Panto and we are thrilled at the prospect of another successful series of shows.
“We are really looking forward to Thursday night at Crompton Place in the heart of Bolton where the cast will be meeting some Christmas shoppers.
“Tickets are selling very well for the shows and we would like to urge people to visit www.bigboltonpanto.co.uk to book tickets and treat their families to some great entertainment throughout next month.”
