Late night shopping with a difference at Crompton Place
Late night shopping will be getting an added sprinkling of fun at Crompton Place this festive season, as the centre hosts a whole range of free activities for all the family.
Crompton Place has teamed up with a variety of local groups, including Bolton Library, Bolton Museum and The Bolton Chaplaincy, for a programme of free festive fun and frivolity, all whilst the shops stay open late for those important Christmas purchases.
A number of different activities will be taking place every Thursday from 5pm to 8pm for five weeks, starting on Thursday 17 November. This week, the Bolton Library has arranged for a very special guest to visit the centre. Taking a break from helping her husband get ready for Christmas, Mrs Claus will be getting youngsters’ imaginations flowing with an evening of story time.
Crompton Place Centre Manager, Paula Wood, said she was delighted to be able to offer late night shopping with a twist. “We’re looking forward to a bumper few weeks of fun at Crompton Place for late night shopping,” said Paula.
“Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year here at the centre and the range of activity that we’ve got on offer will really add to that. We’re all very much in the seasonal spirit at Crompton Place and we can’t wait to see so many smiling, happy faces taking part in our festive evenings of entertainment.”
Crompton Place will be hosting free fun on Thursday evenings, running from Thursday 17 November until Thursday 15 December. Events will be running at various times between 5pm and 8pm with different activity each week.
