One week left to cast your vote at Crompton Place
As the General Election campaign continues to roll on, the people of Bolton still have time to cast another all-important vote as Crompton Place continues its search for its newest Charity of the Year.
Voting closes on Friday 26 May and with the home straight in sight, anyone who wants to nominate a charity that they believe deserves the backing and support of Crompton Place -through help with fundraising, a location to engage with locals and more – can now do so on the centre’s website.
“We’ve had a fantastic response from shoppers so far with plenty of votes being cast in our special ‘ballot box’,” said Crompton Place Centre Manager, Paula Wood. “With just over one week to go until the nominations close, we want to get as many in as possible and now anyone wanting to put forward a charity can also do so via our website.
“We’ve had a wonderful year supporting Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme with a whole host of activity in the centre. For our newest charity, the power is most definitely with the people as they can tell us who they think we should be get behind for the upcoming twelve months. With so many deserving charities across Bolton and the region, I’m sure that we’ll get some very worthy names for consideration.”
Anyone who wishes to nominate a charity can do so by either placing a nomination in the ballot box located in the centre or via the website at http://www.crompton-place.co.uk/charity-of-the-year.html. Voting will be running until 5pm on Friday 26 May and the selected charity will be announced in early June.
